SUMMER READING PROGRAM

Weekly classes will be limited to 24 on a first-come, first-serve *registration basis

  • Registration begins May 7th @ 10:00 am in the Library
  • Registrants must have a current, valid Pima Library card
  • Parents must register their own children
  • June 21, June 28, July 12, July 19

Grades 1 & 2 10:30-11:15 am

Grades 3 & 4 11:30-12:15 pm

Grades 5-7 1:00-2:00 pm

Teens (unlimited-no class registration required)

The online reading log-in program is available to EVERYONE!

Library Policy Changes and Information

ILL Fines

  • Overdue ILL's will be charged $1.00 per day
  • The lending library may also charge fines
  • After 2 late ILL's the patron's ILL privileges will be suspended for one year

Holds

  • If a hold is requested for an item that is already on loan, that patron shall be notified by phone, in person, or by mail
  • No renewals are then possible
  • Late fines will be $.50 per day, per item that have a hold pending

Material Checkout

  • Adults-10 items
  • Children (5-17 years)-5 items
  • All materials (books, videos, magazines) are available for a 2-week checkout (renewals may be available upon request)
  • Late fees of $.05 per item per day are applied

Video checkouts

  • Video checkouts are limited to 5 per household

Computer Usage Time

  • Computer users will be required to sign in using their card number and a PIN (see the front desk for PIN information)
  • Adult Computers (18 yrs +) will be limited to 1 session of 90 minutes per day, per patron
  • Youth Computers (5-17 yrs) will be limited to 1 session of 45 minutes per day, per patron

Computer Printing

  • Due to ink cartridge expense we are no longer able to provide photo/picture printing from CD's, thumb/jump drives, SD cards, or online downloading
  • Printing costs need to be prepaid at the front desk
